I'm Watching...

I couldn’t help feeling sad when all-business bad guy Stringer Bell got his comeuppance on The Wire.

Poor Stringer’s gone, but actor Idris Elba is back on television, and this time he’s on the right side of the law playing Detective John Luther.



Honestly, it doesn’t matter to me if Idris is a playing hero or villain. I just love watching him.

Luther airs on BBC America Sunday nights at 10 pm/9 Central. If you’re like me and don’t have access to BBC America (and can’t wait until it comes out on DVD November 23rd), the series is available for download on iTunes.

Shopping Ban

If you’re a friend of mine on Facebook (if you’re not, click the Facebook button on the right!), you already know I’m on shopping ban for the month of October.

Groan.

So of course, all of my favorite stores up and decided to have fabulous sales.

It gets worse. While flipping through a magazine I came across a Coach ad featuring a gorgeous scarf that’s just screaming my name:


The ocelot scarf is not on sale, but y’all know how much I love a cute animal print!

Anyhoo, I am now counting the days until November 1st and the end of this ridiculous, self-imposed shopping ban.
